Ode to the Bengals
by Steve Makrancy
There once was a man named Paul
Brown.
From Cleveland he came into town.
Some success he did have,
with the Bengals he clad.
None realized what was coming down.
This man he did have a son.
Paul thought he was second to none.
In football he'd dabble,
while Paul hopped he'd saddle,
the Bengals for his son to run.
And yes it did come to pass.
For the legend they did say a Mass.
Mikey took over,
the Bengals rolled over.
Does Mikey know his head from his ass?
0 and 6 is not a beginning.
Mikey's registers are still ringing.
This record must change,
coaches rearrange,
else this team will be perfect at losing.
We Cinci. fans are on the brink.
Mikey the Bengals will sink.
Like Cleveland and Modell,
will him to hell,
and make PBS an NHL rink?
